Everyone should have a bread maker!

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Why didn’t we jump on the bread-making machine bandwagon ages ago? I was sure they’d churn out bread bricks, but wow, was I ever wrong! The slices are ginormous too! I can hardly finish a whole sandwich without feeling like I’m about to pop. Farewell, waistline!

Two loaves used to be $4.50, then $5, and now a staggering $7.50—all in under a year! That’s the final straw. We’re done with lining the pockets of these rapacious corporations. So, we bit the bullet and bought an automatic bread maker.

Our first loaf could have doubled as a doorstop, thanks to our brilliant idea of using regular flour instead of the recommended bread flour. Once we finally got our hands on actual bread flour, the difference was like night and day! Sure, it was still a bit dense, but let’s be honest, it was way better.
