Hack, Cough, Gage, Bark!

These are the sounds that are common for the past couple of weeks. I still have this nasty cough that just won’t give up. I’m all spent on prescriptions that helped a bit but now that they’re gone it’s starting up again. So far the tests have proven that I don’t have TB, whooping cough, or strep throat. (spelling?)

The doctor’s going to send me in for another test to take a look into my stomach. I’m not looking forward to that. She’s concerned about the fact I was coughing up blood which can’t be good. But the thing is the blood stopped when I was on the meds that ran out. It was probably from all the coughing and maybe tore the tissue in my throat. But I’m not the Doctor so I’ll guess I’ll go get a scope shoved down my nose. Or up my nose, whatever they do.

I have to go in to write my last two tests at work. This sucks because I didn’t get any reviews because I was out sick for 5 days. I’ll probably flunk them and have to do a re-write and then fuck them up too. If I do hopefully they put me on the new client that came in a few weeks ago. I’d rather do that than the one I’m on right now. The company I work for has a lot of nice clients I wouldn’t mind working with. Anything but the one I’m with now. It truly sucks balls!

It’s strange that I go in at 1:30 pm to write these tests and not work my shift. Then I’m off Wednesday. My fucking paycheck is going to be so fucken small. Good thing I have my Bills and Rent already paid. Too bad I’m going to be flat broke for the next month though. Unless work pulls through and deposits my March incentive into my account on Friday.

As for an update on what the hell I’ve been doing the past few weeks. Well here’s a short version.
I’ve played and finished a game called Tak 2 for the PlayStation 2. It was just as funny as the first one. It was a fun game.

I watched a few movies. Saw Sin City – a good movie if you are into comics, Sahara – I don’t know why they compare this to an Indiana Jones movie because I didn’t think it was anything like an Indiana Jones movie. It was a good movie nonetheless. I also saw Miss Congeniality – this was a bad movie, I didn’t like it.

I missed American Idol last week and just found out they booted the music teacher. You Americans (the ones voting on American Idiot) are tone-deaf, I’m sorry but it seems you guys are voting on popularity rather than talent. You guys are going to be stuck with another crappy Idol. I’d dig the shit outta’ yer’ ears and start listening instead of looking to see who looks better. That’s enough of that, I think I’ve insulted the American Idol Voters enuff.

Survivor is still up there in the best reality show out there and it was pretty damn good last week too. I can’t say much about daytime tv though because it sucks! It sucks balls! I’ve been downloading TV shows that don’t air here in Canada like crazy. There are a few shows that are in the UK that I’ve been watching all week. I needed something to fill in the dull tv that was on during the day. Feeling like crap and being stuck indoors sucks balls when there’s nothing on the tv.

Wondering why the webcam never points into the room anymore? Well since I’ve been sick I’ve been pretty much living in the living room. I have the futon folded out into the bed and my coffee table is filled with clutter. Well, let’s just say it’s a fucken mess in here and I don’t want the world to see. Maybe I’ll clean up tomorrow, maybe not. I just feel too crappy to do anything right now. My throat is sore and my body aches, so I’m doing fuck all right now.

Well I’m going to go lay down some more before I have to get ready to go to work to write them tests and flunk em’

Cha-Ching!! – Flashback Fridays Chapter 20

While at work today I had to see how much I made for my March incentive. $551.90 is going to be deposited into my account on Friday! Woooot! Thankfully that’ll come in handy since my check from this pay period is going to suck balls, BIG TIME!.

I suppose you’re all wondering how I did on the tests today ey’? Well, that’s none of your fucking business !!! HA HA! Just kidding! I aced them all and passed with flying colours, whatever that means, but anyway I’m certified for the phase 2 project. lol, that sounds funny, project, what I meant was phase 2 of the program.

I didn’t work my full shift today because of the testing so I went down to the beer store to get some ‘ K ‘ (K=Keiths) because I’m off tomorrow too. shit, I’m going to have two and a half days this week. LOL, damn good thing I got that big pay on Friday coming!

Now that I’m certified for the program I’m on I just may be able to enjoy it long enough before the client pulls out because we don’t have enough staff to meet the client’s needs. And rumour has it we can’t hire any new staff because there’s a new client that needs to be filled with new staff and they will be taking up all the classrooms.

I would really like to say the company’s names but due to a confidentiality contract and if the company I worked for just happen to do a Google search on their name I would end up being the #1 hit, I’m sure. That would be bad ey’ Corey?

Unlike some people that will bash the place and mention names of people and the names of clients and the name of the company they work for, just to get fired because they broke the contract. Dumb asses!

I have nothing bad to say about the company I work for and I’m not just saying that for brownie points ( I hate Brownies), it’s like a dream job compared to that nasty NCO/RMH loose-your-fucking-mind-and-jump-off-a-bridge-company-that-don’t-give-a-shit-about-you call center. Well enuff ranting..

I was going to go out and enjoy the sun or what was left of it and enjoy a nice cold beer, but this post sucked the time outta me and now it’s getting dark. Oh well, fuck it. I’ll still enjoy a beer!

Bwaaaaaaaaaa????? – Flashback Fridays Chapter 20

I was playing an online game, you know them cheezy ones on shockwave.com, anyway, I got this e-mail notification ( I get them when an e-mail comes in) so I pause the game and go investigate.
It turns out I won some sorta award for best vocals in an online sing-off that I never signed into.

The thing is, they go on and on about how good I was and how hard it was to choose from the thousands of entries that they got. It also went on to say that they would include me in their vast library listing of potential musicians that need recognition.

But anyway they go on and on about how well I did and awarded me with this cheesy gif animation (Not worth the space to show you) and for some reason they forgot to include a link to their site to add here. I tried the email address domain but that turned up a 404 error.

There were no ads or requests for me to reply to claim this prize. Just an e-mail telling me I won. I replied with a fake e-mail address asking them if I won a prize or something and I’m still awaiting a response from that.

I would post the e-mail but I deleted it thinking it was spam. I know, I know, I should have shown it to you all first. I’m drinking and my thinking skills are a bit off right now.

But what I will do is post the two songs they said I won with. I just remember the times I spent in my SMALL room (IMAGES HERE)Enjoy!

Round 1 – Flashback Fridays Chapter 20

Well, today will be the first day that I work my entire shift on the new schedule since I’ve been sick. Going to see what these ten-hour shifts are going to be like. I’m a little concerned about this cough though, just hope I don’t have to leave early due to the fact I can’t talk without coughing up a lung. I’m sure the other person on the other end of the phone wouldn’t appreciate somebody fleming in their ear.

I think this schedule should be ok. I work 2 days then off one and then work another 2 days and then off two, and since each shift is 10 hours I’ll still get my 40 hours in a week. I just hope they have my breaks broken up well so I don’t end up having a 4-hour wait till my next break or something.

I’m sitting here hacking up a lung already, this is not good. I’m kinda worried about this cough fucking things up for me. 10 am to 8:30 pm shift and I’m gonna end up going home early, FUCK!

Well, I have to set up my VCR to record some TV shows.

UPDATE: Yup I was right, I had to leave an hour early because my cough just got too damn bad and I couldn’t take any more calls. Fuck I can’t take this anymore!!!!!!!

Slap Happy ?? – Flashback Fridays Chapter 20

There’s this new fad over in Great Britain and it’s fucken stupid. You may have heard about it on the news, but what they are doing is going around and whacking unsuspecting strangers right upside the head and recording the attack on video phones and spreading them on the internet.

First of all, now that the kids around here see this on the news since the news stations seem to wanna’ to exploit the story so much that they have it on every station and air the stories every hour, these kids are going to think, “Hey this is what they’re doing in Great Britan! I’m going to get my idiot friends together and try it!”

You wait, you’ll see the local news mention something about it soon.

The second thing is that if some dumb fuck clipped me upside the head, I’d grab the little fuck with the camera and pop them in the head and take their phone. Watching some of these videos they showed on TV, I thought why the fuck are these people just looking back at these fuck holes in shock and not doing anything?

I think if people went for the person with the camera phone and gave them a good head punch (or cock punch if you want) and took their phone to authorities, I think these empty helmets would end up thinking up a new fad.

Just my 2 cents.

I’m going in for another round today. Let’s see if I last the entire shift. Last night after 3 am I woke up coughing up a lung for about 20 minutes before managing to fall asleep again. My throat was very sore when I left last night from all the coughing. Seems the more talking I do the worse the cough gets.

I wish I was on one of them campaigns where you chat online and answer e-mail for a tech support company, that way I could work and not worry about talking to people over the phone.

I was debating if I should go see the doctor today to see if there was anything at all she could do to get this cough to go away. But since she is stumped as to what it’s from and I still need that other test to be done, it would be pointless.

Well, I better get ready before my drive gets here.

UPDATE: This fucken’ sucks! I went in got my first call and had to leave. I went into a major coughing fit. I managed to get 25 fucken minutes in today. I went to make an appointment with my Doctor to see if there was something she could give me to stop the coughing, but she’s booked solid.

I don’t know what’s going on with all this bad luck lately, but I’m getting sick and tired of it and I’m getting so fed up with all this bullshit! Anybody out there at all ever experience a nasty cough that feels like your lungs are always going into fits causing you to cough uncontrollably, and only gets worse when you try to talk?

Also, wake up in the middle of the night from coughing spasms? If so, do you have any over-the-counter drugs you could recommend that stopped your coughing fits? This is pathetic that I’m pleading to the web for help. Maybe a beer will help.
