Well here is Flashback Fridays Chapter 21, a weekly series of entertaining and fun flashbacks of blog posts I’ve written over the past 20 years of blogging. It’s surreal to consider that I’ve been blogging for 20 years.
Using the Wayback Machine to select a few old posts that we believe would be interesting and humorous and post them each week in this Flashback Fridays series. So, let’s take a look at what was going through my mind all those years ago.

Is everyone as impatient as I am to see the new Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith movie? The trailers and previews are awesome and the movie looks like it’s just going to blow us away. I got to see Kicking and Screaming too, it looks like a funny one.
I’m taking it easy today, and playing TY The Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue on the PlayStation 2.
Last night I just managed to have 4 cans of K but ended up passing out. I finished the last 4 this afternoon while watching shows and playing the game.
Pretty much a boring, nerdy day.
I need a coffee!

Holey crap! The series finale of Smallville was AWSOME! To Be Continued was not what I wanted to see, dammit!
American Idols Final Two: Bo and Carrie! Smart choice America! Now all you have to do is make a tough decision next week and pick Bo.
Wow, I’m tired, going to play a little bit of the PlayStation 2 and hit the sick sack.

Yes, I’m a Star Wars fan. I am a huge sci-fi nerd when it comes to space movies. I remember when I watch the first Star Wars movie back when it was out in the 70s. I hated the Jar Jar Binks character just like everyone else also. The other movie Kicking and Screaming is a good one also.
The TV Game was a fun one. I’d like to see that one come out on the PlayStation 5. I enjoy games like that one and other games like Ratchet and Clank.
I was also a fan of the TV show Smallville. It got really good in its’ final season too. I wish they would make more shows like that instead of all of these stupid and ridiculous reality shows.
I know I said I wouldn’t repost the Americal Idol posts, but it just happened to be in this post at the end. Meh.

Back to work on this rainy day. But at least I’ll have something to look forward to when I get home, and that’s the season finale of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The previews look awesome!
If you tried to view the webcam earlier, my computer did a system update and rebooted itself. The cam needs to be started manually.
I’m going to see if I can watch the new Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith movie on the weekend. Too many season finales on TV right now, so I’ll wait till the weekend.
Better continue getting ready for work…

I loved the original CSI TV show. It was nice when they brought it back there for a bit. Unfortunately, the old cast wasn’t there in full. It was still good. I hope CSI: Las Vegas comes back for another season. You?

Damn, that was good!
I especially like the part when Nick Stokes was hallucinating about his own autopsy, that’s what I like about this CSI show. The little comedy that helps break up all the seriousness. Not that Crime Scene Investigating isn’t serious, it’s just the way they break the tension in the show. At least they didn’t end the show with a big “TO BE CONTINUED” plastered all over the screen when it ended, leaving you hanging till next season.
Well Stargate: SG-1 is on.
Wow! I really got excited over TV shows back in the day. LOL! To be fair, CSI was an awesome series. And so was Stargate.

West Coast Americans and other useless banter – Flashback Fridays Chapter 21

While Im having my morning coffee and trying to wake up for work. I just wanted to tell the Americans over on the west coast not to bother calling me today if you don’t review your bill first. You’ll save yourself a lot of time and help me from being disgusted at people that don’t take that extra time to look at their phone bill before calling in and complaining about how long they had to wait on the phone. If the dumbasses out there would do what every other normal person would do, there wouldn’t be such a long waiting time.
If you see a part on the bill that says, “THIS PORTION IS BILLD ON BEHALF OF (some company name here)“, 99.99% of the time there will be a number to call along with a line that says, “FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THESE CHARGES CALL (phone number here)” And don’t say,” Well it’s on your bill” when I tell you to call the number it tells you too, because that’s not going to change the fact that another company is billing you for your porn subscription you got on the internet.
Big deal it’s on your telephone bill, these are communication charges billed on your phone bill. If you have a credit card you wouldn’t freak when Sears charges your purchases on the thing, would you? Same thing here, you use long distance from a different carrier, you accept a collect call from another carrier, you go online and get some voice mailbox, or you are just a pervert that has nothing better to do, other than calling me to complain about your porn subscription you subscribed to when online.
Leave me the fudge alone!
Looks like a lot of pirated movies out there of the new Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith. They appeared on the internet just hours after the release on Thursday morning. Says it’s been clogging up the internet with people downloading the torrent and using other p2p apps’. I couldn’t sit there and watch a great movie like this and have an annoying time code ticking away on the screen. I’ll wait.
Well, I’m going to play a little TY before work. And while at work I’m going to contemplate whether not to get K or not tonight.
GRRRRR! It used to piss me off so much when idiots would call in and scream at me about a charge on their phone bill that had nothing to do with me. You see, back in the day when the internet was still fairly new, people would get these subscriptions you can have billed on your phone account. Kins of like how you can have Apple Subscriptions on your Cell Phone bill.
Well, there was a time when you were browsing the internet on your phone and there would be ads that would appear on some websites for subscriptions to Porn sites. Idiots would sign up for these without reading the fine print. So when their phone bill came in they’d see these charges and immediately phone me instead of calling the number which was usually right below the charge.
So yes. The attention span of people back in 2005 is still as short if not shorter as they are today. It was so pathetic how they would deny the porn subscriptions when the actual process is a multi-step process. You can’t just accidentally click on a ‘yes’ button and be subscribed. There would be a second or even a third confirmation screen.

Monday Blahs! – Flashback Fridays Chapter 21

Damn! I just can’t seem to wake up this morning! I didn’t do anything this weekend at all, except on Friday I went to a friend’s place and had a few beers. Saturday and Sunday all I did was doze in and out of sleep. I finished the Ty game. It was kinda easy actually. Well, I’ve got to get my coffee, it’s done brewing.
I might watch the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith movie tonight. Seems all weekend all I could do was sleep. I couldn’t watch anything.
Well, I’ve got to get ready for work.
UPDATE: I ended up stranded in Lincoln today and missed the day from work. Last night the fire alarms were going off because of a faulty sensor. I wasn’t getting any sleep so I went to Lincoln. This morning the car died and it wasn’t fixed till late afternoon. So I got home and watched Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith and Kicking and Screaming.
Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith was pretty damn good! Puts Episodes 1 & 2 to shame. All the space battles and stuff made the movie what it is. All that battling was what was missing from the first two episodes and didn’t feel like the Star Wars movies we watched twenty years ago. Well, we know how young Skywalker ended up being Darth Vader. I enjoyed the movie and can’t wait for the DVD to come out.
Kicking and Screaming with Wil Farrell was pretty funny too, but I’ve seen better movies that he’s played in. It was alright for an afternoon movie because daytime TV sucks

All that unnecessary fatigue I was experiencing back then was caused by Sleep Apnea. I wish I would have been diagnosed back then, I lost so much time from the severe chronic fatigue I had.
That update, LOL! I’m Gonna let you all in on a little secret. It was a lie. You see, I knew a lot of people from work back then read my blog. I knew the managers did also. So that fake update was just to make my bullshit lie look better. I just didn’t want to go in to work that day because the job sucked and I didn’t want to deal with idiots on the phone.
It was a good day to sit back and watch a few movies and relax.
