Here is Flashback Fridays Chapter 28, a weekly series of entertaining flashbacks of blog posts I’ve written over the past 20 years of blogging. It’s surreal to consider that I’ve been blogging for 20 years.

WTB, Movie Wind Making Fan! – Flashback Fridays Chapter 28

I would kill for one of the fans they use in the movies to simulate high-speed winds in their movies. The heat is scorching and there isn’t even a trickle of wind in the air. It’s dead heat, and it sucks especially when you have been inside a super cold building all day and step out onto the hot asphalt in the parking lot.
I don’t care if you see me on the cam sporting my beer belly and saggy boobies. it’s too damn hot to be wearing clothes. Mind you that you won’t see my bare ass. Sorry Diane, Beth, and Valerie. Lol
I want to do some updates on the server and add a mod to Apache so I can get WP to generate permalinks. Oh! By, the way I added another banner affiliate to the site, I’m searching through sponsors that I think are suitable for the site but right now I have a bunch I picked at random and will sort through them later.
The extra revenue from the ads helps pay for the online service which keeps this site running. Which in fact will be growing as soon as I get the templates made. I know I know, I’ve said this so many times but sometimes when I get off work I don’t have the energy to do anything like Corey says
But #1 on my list is to enjoy a few cold Keiths and sweat out this day!
PHEW!
Little would I know just how hot it would get later on in the future.
If you’re wondering about the cam comment. I used to have a live webcam feed in my living room. Anyone could go to the live cam page and see what I was doing 24/7. They could watch me or my pets. Whatever floated your boat.
Next year we may set up a pet cam that will stream live.

Good News! I’m going to JAM! – Flashback Fridays Chapter 28

I just got off the phone with an old lost friend of mine and he asked me to fill in for his sick Keyboardist!
Looks like I’ll have to hold off on the ‘K’ for a bit and do some work I haven’t done in a dog’s age!
I am MORE than happy to do this. It’s like that MTV show, Re-uniting the bands of washed-up bands.
I’m actually psyched about this! I’m going to play on a $$$$$$$$$$ set of keys and show off some shit from the old school!
I just got dressed in my ol’ sig look, so if you see me before I leave, I’m wearing my suit! LOL! Black shorts and a Jungle shirt!
I have a pick-up coming to get me. LOL. This attention brings back memories! I’m loving it, I’m so psyched, I can’t even type!
(The funny thing was I was wearing the shirt before they called) My mind thought it was coming maybe)
Anyway, I’m out of here and I’ll be back tomorrow to let you all know how it went!

Yes, that was a good night indeed. If I wasn’t pressed for time I would try and find that video that somebody took for me of the performance. I have it, but just don’t know where it is.
We played all the top 40 tunes and the crowd was HUGE!
I remember thinking that I may be too rusty and completely fuck things up by playing out of key or playing really crappy. I didn’t disappoint and I rawked on like it was 2005.

Ringing Ears, and Sore Throat – Flashback Fridays Chapter 28

My ears are still ringing and my throat is a little raw. What ended up being a one-night gig ended up being a weekend thing. We rawked! We rolled! We rocked some more!
I’m just getting in now (3:55 pm Sunday)
Just a quick post to say, YEA! I NEEDED THAT! It’s been a while since these fingers have touched the ivory!
I’m going to lie down now because I’m exhausted!
Yup, I played till my fingers bled. Well not literally.
That was one of the downsides of playing out in clubs like that. It was the part after that had you sore and exhausted. I don’t miss that part.
It’s sad to say that those days are far behind me now. Yes, I miss it. No, I don’t think that I’ll ever go back to it.

Super Duper Tired – Flashback Fridays Chapter 28

Still, a bit burnt out from the weekend and the lack of sleep has taken its toll. Now I am trying to get enough oomph to get ready for work. My throat is still feeling a bit raw and it’s going to be a bitch at work since I talk on the phone all day long.
I’m full of aches and pains now too. Damn! I’m outta shape. Okay, I think I’ve done enough whining now, so got to get ready for work.
I owe, I owe, so it’s off to work I go. :-”
LOL! Yup, I do NOT miss the after-effects of playing Live Rock Concerts. I was hurting more than usual because I was just about as out of shape as I am now. I didn’t feel that bad before though, I was younger and a lot more fit back when I was playing out with the guys rocking and rolling all over the province playing gigs for a living.

Attention all airheads! – Flashback Fridays Chapter 28

This is going to be a rant about stupid people. The majority of my day was answering stupid f’n questions about phone bills and due dates. Attention all you f’n empty helmets out there. Before you call your telephone company, review your bill first.
They almost read like a book, the first page has an index telling you what page to look at for whatever charge it is you want details on. Just like in a book, it tells you to go to page 200 for chapter 12. The telephone reps don’t have a special magical program that can make it easier for us, the bill you see is the bill we see.
Look it over, check both sides of the paper, and chances are that 99.99% of the time you’ll save yourself, myself and millions of other people who have legit questions’ time.
Take an extra 5-10 mins looking the Fargen bill over before you call me bitching about how long it took you to get through. If you want to bitch about how your bill is printed out, call the government, they regulate how them damn things are dealt out for you.
Does it show I had a bad day today!!?
To top it off, I had this freaking horse fly buzzing around my head all the way home while I was walking home.
ARRRRGG!!!
Glad THOSE days are behind me now. I got a great job and a great life now.
Ungh! I remember those nasty customers. They call in to complain about being on hold for so long and then complain that they got charged for something and don’t know why. It would save thousands of hours a day if people just took 5 minutes to review their shit before freaking out.
