There are so many fun ways to start gardening and one of my favorites would be to jumpstart the gardening season by starting my seeds indoors with spring just around the corner. You can plant them outside once they are large enough to tolerate the change in location if you have a covered greenhouse as we do. We use a space heater to prevent the nighttime temperature from falling below 9°C.

All the above gardening ideas are things that we have actually done and are still doing. We just started doing our own compost which has saved us a ton of money on fertilizer costs. Gardening is so rewarding because you get to save money on food costs and your yard will look better than all of the neighbors.
