Survivor 44 Episode 11 – Stooges Rule!

Survivor 44 Episode 11

Last night’s Survivor 44 Episode 11 was actually pretty good. It was just as good as it was last week. At first, I thought it was going to continue with its pattern of good show, bad show, good show, bad show.

It started off really intense with Carolyn getting all upset and going at Yam Yam’s throat for keeping her out of the loop again at last week’s tribal council. And Yam Yam was all, “Well you did it to me too! Whaa Whaa Whaa!” I thought, “Finally! they’re going to start fighting like the good old days of Survivor!”

Unfortunately, they quickly reverted back to their Koombya and group meditation sessions and were just laying around on the beach doing nothing again. This cast must be so lazy that production has a hard time finding footage of them doing stuff instead of just lying around and eating rice by the campfire.

Thankfully it picked up again with Danny interrogating everyone to find out who voted for him last tribal. We all know it was Heidi, but she blamed it on Frannie since she can’t be there to defend herself, Yam Yam even told Danny that it was Heidi and gullible Danny believed Heidi when she told him it wasn’t her when he confronted her with the info Yam Yam told him. Danny locks onto Yam Yam for his next target.

Survivor 44 Episode 11 Immunity Challenge

Jeff brought back the traditional tide cage for the immunity challenge, in which players had to hold their breath as the tide rose from beneath a cage. Yam Yam said that he wasn’t sure if he could do it before the game started, and Carson said that he practiced it in his bathtub.

If I had to do this challenge, I would fail. There’s no way that I could pull this one off. The thought of a bit of water going down my throat as I try to take a breath freaks me out.

Immediately, Lauren gave indications of battling and couldn’t respond to a basic inquiry from Jeff on the grounds that she was already too cold in the water. She lasted for a little while longer, but she was the first to leave. Next to drop, in order, was Jaime, Carson, and Carolyn, leaving just Danny, Heidi, and Yam Yam.

When Danny exited, it was a head-to-head challenge between Heidi and Yam Yam. Eventually, Yam Yam endured longer, for about an hour and 25 minutes altogether, procuring his most memorable individual immunity.

Who ended up on the chopping block for Survivor 44 episode 11? – Who would you have voted for? – Poll

So now that Yam Yam has immunity, Danny’s plan to vote him out went out the window instead. So in order to break up the 3 strong alliance of Carolyn, Yam Yam, and Carson they all targeted Carson as their next victim but told Carolyn something completely different. But the Three Stooges wouldn’t have any of it as Carolyn had a gut feeling about Danny being shady and that she didn’t trust him. So the 3 stooges concocted a plan of their own.

Unlike previous episodes, there were only two names thrown down onto the chopping block. Danny and Carson.

What has prepared them for the game?  I feel if I was a little younger, I may have answered firefighting or mixed martial arts fights; however, I don’t believe that. I believe you can’t really be prepared for this experience, which might make me more prepared.

Survivor is the game that puts the human condition on display and strips you down to your rawest form. It’s terrifying. I believe true happiness is found outside your comfort zone.

OH BOY! That play by Carolyn was awesome! If she didn’t play that idol for Carson that would have been the end of the three Stooges. By playing that idol that locked in their guarantee to make it to the final three. Unless either Heidi or what’s-her-face wins immunity which would break up the three.

I am glad they got Danny out, I was finding him to be a bit too cocky, obnoxious, and annoying. He sucked at the challenges, but that may have been his strategy till he got far enough to start playing seriously.

I’ll give him credit for that awesome Robert De Niro impersonation with Jeff when his torch was snuffed out. That was actually pretty funny.
