Waiting on others – the ultimate time killer
I can’t stand waiting on others. It’s the ultimate time killer. Today, my patience is being tested yet again as I wait for the RCMP to call me back regarding some ongoing issues with foolish individuals. It’s exasperating, especially when I have a long list of tasks to accomplish.
Normally, I’d be immersed in more productive activities, but today, all I can share is why I can’t share anything else. This situation has turned into a vicious cycle of frustration and wasted time.
As the clock ticks away, I resorted to tinkering with my website. It was the perfect moment to clean up the cluttered sidebar. Removing unnecessary widgets that were bogging down the site’s performance felt strangely satisfying. The excessive junk had been a real drag, and the improvement was instant.
Alongside this cleanup, I took the opportunity to add social media links to my profiles. It’s ironic—waiting for that elusive phone call has given me time to enhance my digital presence.
While the RCMP keeps me in limbo, it’s becoming clear: waiting on others might just be the ultimate enemy of productivity.
I’m on a roll
Yesterday was my big achievement, posting for 65 consecutive days. Today will be 66. Just thought I’d add that in here too.

Conclusion…

If you find yourself constantly waiting on others, it might be time to reassess who you rely on. After all, your time is just as valuable as theirs, if not more. Why let someone else’s inefficiency dictate how you spend your precious hours? Me, unfortunately, I have to take care of these legal matters so I have no choice in the matter.
I’m curious, what are your thoughts on this? Do you hate waiting on other people as much as I do? Or is your biggest peeve something else entirely? Share your frustrations and experiences in the comments below!
