India’s foreign affairs minister, S. Jai Shankar, recently threw down the gauntlet on Canada. He accused the Liberal government of inviting wanted criminals from Punjab, handing them visas, even when they arrived with fake documents. He warned Canada might be sacrificing security for political optics and utility.

You can’t make that up.
Liberal MPs defend it by claiming immigration screening is improving via Bill C-2. But if their screening fails at such a base level, what’s the point of reform?
