Well here is Flashback Fridays Chapter 22, a weekly series of entertaining and fun flashbacks of blog posts I’ve written over the past 20 years of blogging. It’s surreal to consider that I’ve been blogging for 20 years.

Using the Wayback Machine to select a few old posts that we believe would be interesting and humorous and post them each week in this Flashback Fridays series. So, let’s take a look at what was going through my mind all those years ago.

When I was younger, I was such a nerd. Please use your discretion when reading these posts because I apparently used profanity a lot.

Let’s get to Flashback Fridays Chapter 22!

Let’sTry This Again…. – Flashback Fridays Chapter 22

May 24th, 2005 by MacBros

Trying to wake up to get ready for work but I’m having a hard time. Even the coffee isn’t helping.
Maybe the day will go by fast and then I’ll be off tomorrow.

I was counting out my money for rent and then looking at what I had left for pocket money, and let’s just say it’s not good. Good thing that I got my $70 back from my prescription refund or my refrigerator would be empty a while longer.

Fucken sucks being broke! All I need is four more bucks to make an even $100 and Google Ads will deposit it into my bank by the end of the month, just need those clicks, so if you all wouldn’t mind helping me out.

It seems that Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith has broken the box office record. Which isn’t a big surprise. That was a damn good movie and fits into the Awsome factor along with episodes 4 – 6. If you don’t like Star Wars, f-u and your comments. I liked it.

Anyway, I got to finish getting ready for work, maybe I’ll add an update when I get home tonight. But maybe not. Who knows? I’ll be fixing up and adding new swear words to the smileys too.

Yup, I’m still suffering from that chronic fatigue caused by sleep apnea. But if you’re a frequent visitor here, you’ll know why. If not, search sleep apnea on my blog.

I don’t miss those days of struggling from paycheck to paycheck. There were a few generous people back then that would send me money to help me out. I never even suggested having them send money either. I had some really good online friends back in those days. Unfortunately, a couple of them have passed away from cancer and heart disease. Life can be a harsh thing.

The Google ads really helped me out back then also. I didn’t know the TOS very when and I almost lost my AdSense account by asking people to click on ads. Thankfully they just gave me a warning and allowed me to continue to have my site monetized with them. So don’t be clicking the ads unless the ad really interests you. Google frowns on fraudulent ad clicks.

I liked the Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith movie, I thought it was a good movie.

The Rant to End All Rants! – Flashback Fridays Chapter 22

May 24th, 2005 by MacBros

Ok, I’m in a very pissy mood right now. I’m going to sound like an asshole for a bit here because I’ve got some news today that really pissed me off and I would like to give the person a major cock-punch who thought it would be OK to go ahead and fuck with my schedule.

But first a short story……

You know I’ve been going on and on about how great this schedule I’m on is? How I love having the week broken up on a Wednesday and then the weekends off. How much this worked out and the ten-hour shifts made it worthwhile?

Well, you know what they say, “when something is too good to be true, it usually is”. I really, REALLY, REALLY want to say who I work for, but can’t but if you’re witty enuff, you’ll know so pay attention. When I got hired by this New company I was a little weary of working for another Communications company. But after a few weeks, I knew I made a good choice. I was on a Tech Support campaign that I really enjoyed.

That client left so I went to another one. That’s when the job went from great to, “Oh GOD, why do you hate me so?”

As the weeks go by, things get even worse, I would really like to get off this campaign and go to another one. People that work with me hate it and seems to be a big problem because it’s making people call in sick or quit because it’s very taxing. I have to admit, there is a lot of information you need to absorb on a weekly bases in order to do your job successfully.

The calls that are monitored bash you to shit and never make you look forward to them because they are never encouraging. So to end this short story, I’m starting to hate my job

With that said and to continue off from the first paragraph. I got an e-mail telling me the shift that I like so much is going to be taken away from me. Ok, at this point I’m in a pissed-off mood and want to kill the fucken asshole who made this change and cock-punch the asshole and then kick them in the face for a bit and tell them to take this job and shove it and say fuck you asshole, find another sucker to do your bidding!

But since I have bills to pay, I guess I’m the sucker who has to do the bidding. So Bidding on the new shift tonight is what I have to do.

It seems the rules at work change for the worse all the time. The thing is, the changes are more for the company and end up taking away from the employee. Remember the No Scent Policy, well it went from No Scent to Reduced Scent to, ah fuck it. Marinade in that shit. We don’t care Policy. Sick incidences, schedule adherence and other incredibly impossible expectations they want seem to increase.

It’s almost like the company wants people to quit. I understand a company is in business for profit, but there is a line that should never be crossed and that is to make money at the cost of your employee’s sanity and personal life.

I’ve made a vow to myself, and that is if the company ends up like RMH I will walk out the door, no way in hell will I EVER work for an NCO piece of shit company like that again. With that said, at least the company I work for now isn’t like that….. yet, and hope will NEVER end up like it.

So my biggest problem today was the shift :fuk: up and now I may have to go back to working five days in a row. I’m gonna miss that shift. It was sweet. So in order to drown my sorrows I’ve got myself a box of K I’m also going to take this moment to tease Corey and say Cheers, have a nice day at work tomorrow!

Ok, I think I feel a little better after that rant to bring you some happy info I got from a caller today and would like to share. I want to share it because it has to do with American Idol. The caller originally called in to see if the calls she made to vote for her favourite American Idol were going to be billed to her account.

Apparently, her friend told her that them calls cost money! She freaked I guess so she called in asking if there were charges on her account for these calls. I guess she called in over eighty times so far and thought her bill would be in the hundreds of dollars. I assured her that 866 numbers are toll-free and that it’s just the Text messaging that will be charged to your cell phone.

To her relief, we then chatted about the show. I said to her to vote for me tonight because she was also voting for Bo. After the call I realized she said she already called over 80 times and said to myself, there aren’t eighty shows. LOL, she’s cramming the voting system. But since she’s voting for Bo, I don’t care.

I told her about the fact I’m in Canada and can’t vote, and she would vote for me. LOL. I also mentioned that our Canadian Idol is starting soon and she didn’t even know about it. Don’t the Americans get Canadian TV??? Strange.

But anyway, her call made the day because we chatted about who we liked and who should win and we both agreed on their answers. This is the only thing that kept me kewel about the bullshit fucken problems at work today.

But unfortunately, both Bo and Blondie( Brain Fart on her name) did terribly tonight. It’ll be interesting on the votes tomorrow. But hopefully, the Americans look at the whole show and vote accordingly to how well they did. They will vote BO!

Ok, beer is getting to me and typing is getting bad… Got to go play ISketch for fun. You gotta try this game, it’s free and FUN!

L8er,

thank you for taking the time to listen to my little rant.
G’night!

Oh boy. Little did I know back then that this job would end up stressing me out so badly that I would end up having to go out on stress leave. This company really pulled the wool over everybody’s heads with their charm and hallow promises.

They would take anything away that made the employees happy at their job. They made that place so miserable I’m sure a lot of people quit due to stress. That shift I liked was taken away for no reason and boy I was pissed off.

The rest of that post was about American Idiot, and I said I wouldn’t bring up that show anymore.

Photoshop Time – Flashback Fridays Chapter 22

May 25th, 2005 by MacBros

Being silly and creative while I did my laundry today. I’m still in this Star Wars state of mind and farted around with Photoshop and did some photo editing.
Have a look!

Mac's Opinion - The place where everyone is entitled to my opinion

I’ll be posting this one in the gallery so you can see the larger image.
Got to get comfy on the futon for the season finale of Lost.

I love playing around with Photoshop. Back then, you didn’t have all these fancy Apps on your phones. Back then you had to manually edit your photos to create special effects. Kids today with their Tik Tok and Instagram filters don’t know how well they have it today.

I still love Photoshop and have learned a lot of skills over the years you can’t do with an app….. yet.

This post actually makes me want to add a gallery to this site now. I should ask the site admin if they could add this for me if they have the time.

Typical Idiot Story – Flashback Fridays Chapter 22

May 26th, 2005 by MacBros

I got this from a news clipping on another site. I just want you to experience the type of people I put up with all day at work. Enjoy!

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An 86-year-old woman was jailed after police said she called 911 dispatchers 20 times in a little more than a half-hour — all to complain that a pizza parlor wouldn’t deliver.

Dorothy Densmore was charged with misusing the 911 system, a jail spokeswoman said.

She told dispatchers Sunday that a local pizza shop refused to deliver a pie to her south Charlotte apartment, said Officer Mandy Giannini. She also complained that someone at the shop called her a “crazy old coot,” Giannini said.

Densmore wanted them arrested. Instead, police came to arrest her, and she resisted, Giannini said.

It’s unusual for someone to face charges for nonemergency calls, Giannini said. But on Sunday, Densmore kept calling 911, even after she was told to stop, Giannini said.

When an officer arrived at her apartment, the 5-foot-tall, 98-pound woman attacked him, Giannini said. Densmore scratched him, kicked and bit his hand, she said.

Densmore also is charged with resisting a public officer and two counts of misusing the 911 system, jail records show.

: Fucken empty helmets. How do they make it through life?

And just think about this for a moment. These people walk amongst us. These people vote! And worst of all, these people reproduce!

I swear, if we don’t get mental hospitals back up and running, this will only be the new norm. Isn’t it crazy just how bad society has gotten lately?

Stop the world, I want to get off.

2 B or not 2 B – Flashback Fridays Chapter 22

May 27th, 2005 by MacBros

Two B or not two B, K is the answer! What the hell am I thinking!!?? The actual question should be 12 K or not 12 K, and YES is the answer!

After all, this is going to be a long weekend for me because of the American Holiday on Monday. So the call center is closed! Yay!

On the news, I heard that there was this woman arrested and sentenced to 20 years for smuggling pot into the country and that she was lucky she didn’t make it into Madagascar because she would have got the death sentence. Geez!! Death over a bag of pot. Wow!

And 20 years for a bag of pot! Damn! Murderers and rapists get less time than that, what is wrong with that picture!!??

Gotto go and get ready for work and send off a Congratulations to my friend Beth on her recent marriage.

l8er

If you haven’t figured it out by now, I like my Alexander Keiths IPA beer. And I still do.

That 20-year sentence though right? Some countries are ass backwards. It’s sad to think a person’s life can be ruined simply by having a plant on them, but murder and other violent crimes aren’t as important.

Stop the world, I wanna get off.
