Mass Immigration Letting Terrorists into Canada

The federal Liberal government has a barrage of policy failures haunting it: a comatose economy, skyrocketing debt, and a string of foreign policy blunders. But the most catastrophic failure is in the pivotal realm of immigration.

They think Immigration is essential because Canada relies on newcomers to fuel both population and economic growth—thanks to a pitiful fertility rate of 1.33 children per woman, we aren’t even replacing ourselves. Why? Lifelong Canadians can’t afford to have children in Trudeau’s Canada. Instead of importing immigrants to fill this gap, we need to make it affordable to raise a child here.

Mismanaged immigration, however, spawns a host of social problems, from a crippling housing shortage to alarming security threats. Just last week, the RCMP nabbed Toronto residents Ahmed Fouad Mostafa Eldidi, 62, and his son, Mostafa, 26, on terrorism charges, after they were caught brandishing bladed weapons in front of an ISIS flag.

Astonishingly, Mostafa Eldidi isn’t even a citizen, yet his father, involved in an infamous ISIS video dismembering a prisoner, somehow gained citizenship. How on earth did this slip through the cracks of immigration, RCMP, CSIS, and border security officials? This is an unmitigated security disaster that could have been cataclysmic.

Here’s what all the smart Canadians’ blunt take on it is: it’s all a numbers game. With upward of a million people flooding in every year, it’s impossible to screen them all effectively without large resources—something the Liberals have neglected. Temporary residents now make up a colossal 2.5 million people or six percent of our population.

Despite plans to taper down, as Immigration Minister Marc Miller announced last Thursday, “The era of uncapped programs to come into this country is quickly coming to an end,” the Liberals still plan to welcome 485,000 immigrants this year, 500,000 in 2025, and another 500,000 in 2026.

So why was this tidal wave of newcomers ushered in? Two reasons: corporate interests and votes. Foreign workers take low-wage jobs that Canadian-born workers refuse, because low wages don’t help you survive unless you’re living in a 3-bedroom household of 20 people like these immigrants are doing, providing cheap labour for industries from agriculture to retail to construction.

Business groups and organizations like the Century Initiative lobby incessantly to “fill the labour gap,” a gap that’s now a myth given that unemployment among temporary residents reached a whopping 11 percent in June, compared to 6.4 percent overall. The Liberals also have a long history of exploiting newcomer communities for votes; temporary residents eyeing permanent status are likely to throw their support behind the party that opened the doors for them.

US Senator Marco Rubio on Canadian immigration

Others, though, are fed up. The U.S. recently apprehended 233 terrorist suspects trying to enter from Canada. A group of U.S. Senators cautioned that Canada’s policy on Gazan refugees could serve as a gateway for terrorists. A new advocacy group, Lawyers for Secure Immigration, pushes for stringent security screenings, particularly for up to 5,000 applicants from Gaza.

Co-founder Veronique Malka asserts that, while genuine refugees are welcome, terrorists like Hamas and Hezbollah exploiting our lenient system are not. Canadians should not tolerate this. Immigration is meant for those looking to build new lives, not for persecutors seeking a base of operations or to just be blatant freeloaders. Unless this government stops politicizing immigration, this looming threat is dangerously real. Wake up, Canada! WAKE UP!!!

Conclusion…

Canadians have had it with the immigration policy letting terrorists into the country.

In conclusion, Canada’s immigration policies are at a critical crossroads. To ensure the nation can thrive both economically and socially, it’s imperative that we balance the need for newcomers with a robust and comprehensive screening process. This means allocating adequate resources to immigration authorities, enforcing stringent security measures, and addressing the socio-economic factors that deter citizens from having families.

Immigration should be a well-regulated system that benefits the country and its residents, not a political tool for short-term gains. The future of Canada depends on actionable and balanced immigration reforms that prioritize safety, economic stability, and equitable opportunities for all.
