Twitter Users In A Frenzy – Elon Musk Restores Donald Trump’s Twitter Account
Elon Musk restores Donald Trump’s Twitter account, “The people have spoken.”
I’m going to sit back with some hot buttered popcorn and watch this shit show take off. When I saw that Elon will restore Donald Dump on Twitter, I thought, “Oh, this should be good.” I’m actually looking forward to the garage he’ll tweet and how the people will react. Should make for some good comedy while I have my morning coffee.
For the record, I think Donald is a clown and I am glad that I wasn’t an American under his office. However, I did love how he made a fool out of himself and how comedy shows like Saturday Night Live did some awesome sketches on him. He made it so easy to laugh at.
November 18th Elon Tweets the poll that decided it all.
When the poll ended over 15 million people voted. 51.8% are in favor of having Donald Funk back on the platform and 48.2% are against it. That was a tight margin IMO.
Then the following day Elon followed threw with the results of the poll and reinstated Donald Skunk on the platform. And wow, a lot of hate tweets started flooding the platform condemning Elon for reinstating Trump’s Twitter account. But in reality, it was the people who said yes to it, so I guess all those hate tweets were from the 48.2% that votes against Donald Dumpy’s Reinstatement.
But then there were also the obvious Trumpster Supporters…
So, what did Dumpster Donald have to say about all of this?
Donald Dump said on Saturday that he has no interest in returning to Twitter even though a slim majority voted in favor of reinstating the former U.S. president, who was banned from the social media service for inciting violence.
“I don’t see any reason for it,” the former president said via video when asked if he planned to return to the Social Media Service by a panel at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership meeting.
Dumpster Donald said he would stick with his new platform Truth Social, the app developed by his Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) startup, which he said had better user engagement than Twitter and was doing “phenomenally well”. He thinks it’s HUGE, LOL!
We all know that he can’t resist opening up his Twitter account to blurt out some stupid remark about the situation. It’s just a matter of time before we’ll see a new Tweet show up.
Lead us not into temptation…
Elon posted that pic but I wanted to have a copy of it in case he decides to delete his post. But I assume this is his response to what Donald Duck said in that video above showing him snubbing Elon’s offer to reinstate his account. So he may not have commented to the media about how he feels about being turned down, but I think his post says what everyone else is thinking also.
Twitter is an addition
A lot of users are saying they’re going to quit Twitter and close their accounts, not just because Donald Dump’s account is being reinstated, but because they can’t stand the fact that Elon owns it and is making big changes. That poll alone shows that people are still using it with over 15 Million votes in just one day.
CBS News could only stay away from the platform for only 48 hours. Fearful of the “uncertainty” surrounding Elon Musk’s management of Twitter, CBS News announced that it would be suspending its usage of the social media site. But their addiction was just too strong and they were back only after a couple of days, LOL!
Elon replies with a hilarious Meme.
This is very amusing to me, to be honest. I find all of this media coverage of Elon and Donald, and how Elon is running his own company to be great entertainment. I really hope Donald Dump actually does start tweeting again. It was always great entertainment for me, and now with Elon owning the company, it can only get better and more entertaining in my opinion.
Now the Dumpster supporters reading this post are probably infuriated by now or haven’t even reached it to this point in the post and if they have, I’m sure there should be some interesting comments posted below. I can say that Donald Dump was great for entertainment, but he was a wrecking ball of a President. You can take that as a positive or negative comment if you want.
I only use the platform to tweet links to my posts and I tweet memes. I’m not a die-hard user like a lot of users on there. I comment on tweets I like, and I share tweets, but I don’t tweet everything I do on there like a lot of people do. So if the Social Media platform does end up dying, I won’t miss it.
I never had the blue check verification and I never plan on ever getting it either. Paying $8 a month for a stupid blue checkmark graphic is insane. I don’t need an Edit option that bad, if I make a typo, I’ll just correct it the same way I always have, with a comment.
I am looking forward to the drama that will come from all of this. It’s amazing how the media is following this so closely when there are other more pressing things happening in the world, but it seems that we (humans) are more attracted to drama like this instead of the more pressing topics.
I think that Twitter will actually survive. Maybe Elon actually knows what he is doing and all the people that were laid off or quit were just wasting resources and were just dead weight. Or maybe not. If it goes under, no big deal in my opinion. I’m sure there are Twitter Engineers that were fired who are looking into creating another social media platform like it and will take over if Elon runs his company into the ground.
What’s your take on this whole thing?
