Top 7 FREE AI Art Generator Websites You Might Not Already Know About

These FREE AI art generator websites will help you with your creativity blocks

It can be difficult to come up with new ideas, as anyone who has ever taken an art class is aware. There are many ways to spark your creativity, but on occasion, it can be useful to get some help. Image generators that use AI can help with this.
From straightforward text descriptions written in natural language, AI art generators can produce images of a high caliber. In addition, access to them has recently increased.
All of these websites let you use them for free, and some will let you upgrade to more premium features by purchasing a paid subscription. We’ve gathered seven web applications that provide free text-to-image services in this article and with each one, our text line to create our own images was, “Space monkey riding a horse in space.“
Also, we should mention that all the examples we generated below were strictly on the text prompt only without any extra tweaking, so these examples are first-run generated images.
1. MAGE

In September 2022, Mage Space went live and offered limitless generation at launch. By creating an account, you can gain access to an advanced mode that allows you to set the guidance to 0 and increase the quality to an “Insane” level, removing all limitations on the creation of NSFW images.
Mage also offers the choice to “enhance” the output if you want to boost the resolution and remove unwanted artifacts.

2. Playground AI

Our personal preference for the oil painting effect on the list is this web application. It provides a ton of extra features in addition to the typical text-to-image generation, such as auto-filling prompts, filters, and creating images using Dall-E2.

3. Hugging Face Stable Diffusion 2.1

At the time of its public release, the Hugging Face app was one of the first to support stable diffusion.
Four 512×512 resolution images from each generation are produced. Here is an example response to our “space monkey riding a horse in space” text prompt.

4. Stable Diffusion Playground

This free AI Art Generator is very similar to the Hugging Face generator but that’s probably because they use the same AI, we think. Here are the four images generated from that web application using the prompt, “Space monkey riding a horse in space.”

5. DreamStudio

DreamStudio has a lot of useful settings you can use to choose how many images you want to be generated, and how you want the dimensions to be. You can also choose how many steps you’d like the AI generator to make. The more steps the better the results.
Here we generated a single image using 40 steps and maximum size using the prompt, “Space monkey riding a horse in space.”

6. Canva’s Text-To-Image

Stable Diffusion developed the Canva application text-to-image. It has no obvious indication of limited generations and could still be in the beta stage. We believe that the image limit is still a work in progress. Users appear to be able to create as many images as they want for the time being.
Although I’m not a huge fan of their version because the controls are confusing, I still use a lot of CANVA’s other features. I developed my branding there.

7. Wombo Art

Wombo has been around for a while. It is among the original text-to-art generators. Wombo has a few unique features, such as the ability to remix your NFT, select a reference image, and switch between 39 different art styles.
Stable Diffusion now powers Wombo. It should produce results that are nearly identical to others if the art style is taken into account. In this illustration done in the “Analogue” art style, our space monkey riding a horse in space.

Conclusion…

My favourite of these free AI Art Generator programs is WOMBO by Dream if I had to pick just one. But that is only based on our tests, which were conducted using only the default feature settings and without using any additional feature settings. To reduce extra artifacts that looked bad in the images and other things, we could have used the extra features of the applications.
I’ve been using these to generate a lot of images for my images here on this site when I get brain fog trying to Photoshop a Feature Image for a blog post. So we hope that these AI text-to-image Generators help you out as they do for us.
If you know of one that we haven’t listed here, post it in the comments below.
Cheers!
