Is it really going to be a Happy Canada Day 2025?

This is a repost from last year’s Canada Day. I’d say things are pretty much the same, but it is, in fact, worse. We have a banker for the Prime Minister whose ideology is trumping Canadian values, and he seems to want to become part of the European Union, despite being landlocked in the Americas on an entirely different continent. I guess he misses his home back in England so much that, just like the immigrants coming to Canada, he wants to change Canada into the country they left behind.
Prime Minister Mark Carney is pushing his WEF ideology on Canadians by promoting an impossible EV mandate, getting rid of gas-powered cars in the next 5 years. With an electrical grid that blacks out whenever your neighbour turns on their microwave. It’s not for the environment; it’s for his bank account because we all know he’s still connected to Brookfield, and Brookfield is cashing in on all of his mandates and government contracts.
Let’s not get started with the immigration and the Palestine terrorist supporters in the streets of Canada every day disrupting Canadians from going about their day. Canada is becoming overrun with these disrespectful give-a-grants! Taxpayer dollars are going to support them to the point that they don’t have to work and receive more money from tax dollars than actual Canadian-born citizens make in a year. Instead of respecting Canadian values and customs and assimilating to them, they come into Canada and expect Canadians to change their ways to accommodate them!
I hate what Canada has become.
I don’t know about you, but the past DECADE in Canada have been a train wreck, offering little to celebrate Canada Day 2025. Sure, we can cling to past glories and pretend we’re proud Canadians, but let’s face it: recent events have provided nothing but a string of disappointments.
I might not speak for all Canadians, but let’s face it—our tax dollars are being squandered, immigration is out of control, and the cost of living is suffocating us. What’s there to celebrate? How can we even think about a Canada Day celebration for a country drowning in debt and losing its core Canadian values?
For what it’s worth, everyone here at Mac’s Opinion hopes you try and have a Happy Canada Day 2025.
Cheers 🍻🍷🎉🍾🥳🎆🎇
And ‘Elbows Up’, right? FML 🤦♂️
